Warranties and Guarantees

Game World offers limited warranties on items purchased in the store. Some conditions apply:

For pre-owned merchandise: Games

• 14 days from date of purchase
• Original receipt absolutely required.
• Defective we will fix it, exchange for same title or give you store credit if same title not in stock.
• Refunds are issued in original payment type.
• Cash purchases over $39.99 are refunded by check from the corporate office on the 1st and 15th monthly.
• Any used merchandise must be returned in the condition that it was purchased.
• Game World will not guarantee that you’ll like the game you buy!

For pre-owned merchandise: Systems

• 3 days from date of purchase
• If you do not like the system, you can return it (within 3 days) for store credit.
• Original receipt absolutely required.
• No exchanges or credit on misused merchandise.

For new merchandise

• New merchandise is warranted through their respective manufacturers, not Game World. For manufacturer contact information, please refer to the owner’s manual or the manufacturer’s website.
• Return within 14 days if it is unopened and in the factory sealed packaging. We will refund by check or gift card.
• Pre-Orders need to be placed 1 day before the release date.
• Original receipt absolutely required.
• Abandoned merchandise includes pre-orders not claimed within 7 days or us holding your merchandise for any reason for longer than 120 days.
